Vincenzo was born on December 25, 1876 in Nicastro, Catanzoaro, Italy.
Giuseppina was born on May 28, 1878 in Catanzaro. They were married on July 23, 1899.
How appropriate we have the reunion's the last weekend in July every
year... was this planned to commemorate their anniversary? If not, I think it should be.
Vincenzo came to America in June of 1900 on the S.S. Spaarndam. Giuseppina
followed, on The Naples, 3 years later in July of 1903. Together they had 11 children. The first child, Domenico,
born March 9, 1900 in San Mango, Italy, died as an infant on March 31, 1900. Once in America, they had Rose
(5/31/1904), Joseph (11/13/1905), Charles (11/11/1907), Samuel
(07/17/0909), Mary (1/1/1911), Domenica (8/4/1912), Parma
(4/27/1914), Elizabeth (1/5/1916), Frank (5/29/1918) and Louis
(8/6/1920).
